I bought Gloria Estefan's greatest hits in the early 90's when I was a kid and sang it non-stop. This is when I realised I loved singing and it brought me so much joy. As I grew up, I would listen to 'big' singers such as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston and emulate their style and power. Over the years, I've learnt to appreciate all music and voices. From raw blues voices, soulful love songs to angsty pop songs. I couldn't really tell you one genre I prefer to sing. My voice has elements of soul, blues, jazz, rock, pop and folk styles.

I'm Leanne and welcome to this weeks 'Alphabet of Singers' and the letter C! I'll be uploading new videos every week, going through the alphabet!
Celine Dion was my vocal idol when I was growing up. I used to lock myself away in my bedroom with the album 'Falling Into You' on tape and just sing... loudly!
'It's All Coming Back To Me' was the first single I remember going out to Woolworths and buying with my own money on tape. Such a classic, dramatic love song.
Other 'C' considerations were Carried Underwood and Christina Aguilera - although I pretty much knew from the get go it was going to be Celine.

"It's All Coming Back to Me Now" is a power ballad written by Jim Steinman.[1] According to Steinman, the song was inspired by Wuthering Heights, and was an attempt to write "the most passionate, romantic song" he could ever create
The song is the first on Dion's album Falling into You. Jim Steinman produced the track, with Steven Rinkoff and Roy Bittan as co-producers. Bat Out of Hell and Meat Loaf collaborators Todd Rundgren, Eric Troyer, Rory Dodd, Glen Burtnick and Kasim Sulton provided backing vocals. (Wikipedia)
