From Bilbao. I love music, especially rock, from pop-rock to metal. My favorite decade for music is the 90s, and the sound of grunge bands,... I hope you enjoy the covers.

Cocteau Twins - Violaine (Guitar Cover)
A new incursion into shoegaze style.
"Violaine" is the first take of the studio album "Milk & Kisses", released on March 1996, by Scottish band Cocteau Twins. It was their 8th and final album.
If you want to know more about this unique band, you will find a lot of information on this website: https://cocteautwins.com/
This is my own interpretation of the song. Sorry, I don't have the tabs for this song, I've played it by ear, trying to sound as much like the studio version as possible. There are practically no live videos of this great band, nor have I found any cover versions of this song, except for one by "The Coctones", which is a cover band. I haven't played the scatter tremolo guitar that you hear at the beginning of the song. I'm not sure if it's an electric guitar and not a synthesizer either, but with these shoegaze bands you never know...
Another curious thing is the lyrics of this song. It is not written in any recognisable language, and it is not certain that they are the ones found on the web. Some say there are some words written backwards in English. Who knows.
The main chord, which repeats during the verses is an A9: 0 0 11 12 12 12.
Standard Tuning.
Gear used:
- Fender Stratocaster Standard.
- Squier Jazzmaster J Mascis.
- Line 6 POD GO. Effects: Fuzz, Chorus, Digital Delay.
- Neunaber IMMERSE Reverberator MkII pedal.
- Fender cable, Dunlop Ultex picks.
