I'm a small time drummer in a town with a million houses and like 2 people. Walking around in it is so rare that when cars pass by, drivers and passengers in them can't help but to shout in either shock, enthusiasm or curiosity at the fact that I don't have a car attached to my bum. To stay in shape I either go to the gym, walk around this ghost town, or drum. So here I am.
Here is an original from my 2007 Alien Sun release. It is a somewhat raw version of an eventual late 2019/early 2020 re-release. Every instrument that you hear me drum along to is played by me. (Bass, rhythm and lead guitars) The first iteration of this album was released as something of a demo that was engineered in a standalone DAW, A BR1180CD to be exact. Anyone who has used this little powerhouse back in the standalone DAW hayday knew that it had features that packed a punch, but had its own set of challenges, hence the rise of software popularity. So technology since then has come a long way and I felt the time was right to revisit this project and bring out the true sound it was meant to have. Here is what I have so far but there is more to come. For now I hope you will enjoy.
In this video I use:
Drums: Tama Superstar Classic Cymbals: Sabian B8 (Believe it or not) Guitar: Ibanez GSA60 Bass: Peavy Millenium. Pedal: Digitech RP255 Hardware: Pearl (Took them from my Pearl Export). Mic: Blue Yeti Pro (To make the B8s) sound half decent :P. Audio: Pro Logic X. Camera: Sony Handycam 9.2mp. (I know, no fancy cut scenes or glitzy transitions. Just me rockin' out).
