Hey guys I'm up again with another cover.This time with a very cute,adorable,meaningful,deep,emotional but also very sad song called "Cry Baby" by the wonderful and lovely artist Melanie Martinez.
So since I really love this song and think it's very catchy,great to sing and can absolutely relate to it as well,I decided to do a cover of this song.
Otherwise I haven't covered anything of Melanie Martinez for a while,so I decided to do it once again.Also that's a song that I wanted to cover for so long but I just never managed to do it cause I was always busy with some other things.Or it was too late to cover it,but now I finally did it!
Another reason why I covered this song is,that I can just relate to this song so much! Cause I'm also a crybaby,I remember when I was in elementary school I cried about every single dram and so much that the picture became blurry in front of my eyes from all the tears! And because of that there was of course someone who called me a crybaby too and jut simply said that I should stop crying about every single dram.And also that my crying is annoying of course.
But I sadly couldn't help it,cause I'm just way too emotional and sensitive to not cry.Which is the reason why this song "Cry Baby" by Melanie Martinez describes me perfectly! And that's a further reason for me to cover this song!
And as all the other songs I have covered of Melanie Martinez so far except "Play Date" which is not in the "Cry Baby" storybook nor on the "Cry Baby" album,the song "Cry Baby" is also a part of Melanie's storybook and album which names I have already mentioned above! And because the album and the story book of it has the same name called "Cry Baby" the song "Cry Baby" of course is the first track on the album including the first story of the storybook.
This song in fact introduces the "Cry Baby" character which the whole album of Melanie Martinez is about.
And Melanie is trying to kinda turn the word "Cry Baby" which is supposed to be an insult to a compliment with this song because most people can't get that emotional and go that deep with their emotions in general like the "Cry Baby" character.And that's actually a pretty big strength! I think Melanie did it very smartly with this song!
Also it says in the lyrics of the song that the "Cry Baby" character has a very big heart,indeed it's so big that it's even too large to fit in her little body.And also large enough that it can even replace her brain! So that part of the lyrics clearly shows how deep the "Cry Baby" character can go with her emotions!
So now back to the cover itself,well at the beginning of this video I first just pretended to be sad and crying to just simply fit with the emotion of this song.Which is obviously sad of course.But then in the middle to the end of the video I started crying for real cause this song really hit me emotionally! So if you think I just pretend to cry through the whole video,no I didn't! I cried for real,I just couldn't help it! So the only part where I pretended to cry was only at the beginning of the video.
So sadly when I cried for real,I in fact cried so much that I even messed up the lyrics at the end of the video.Because I couldn't focus on the song anymore from all the crying unfortunately.So I'm extremely sorry for that guys,I will definitely prevent such a happening in the future! But this time please have some comprehension for it,thank you!
So despite that of course I still tried to make this song sound as great and as perfect as possible as I always do!
But still this is NOT supposed to sound perfect nor professional at all cause I'm just doing this as a hobby and for having some fun doing it.
So as always I had lots of fun singing and recording this cover!
