Adam and friends. It's always a duo. The audience and the stage. At least a duo. Maybe a trio, a quatuor, a quintet, a sextuor, a septuor, an octuor...
Old story of love, flying high above it all
Tale of longing and hope, of heart and soul
Here we go, flying round the sun
Never knowing where to run
Sing a song, write a story, try to leave it all behind
Forget what you just said now you're part of the game
We sing stories of love, trying to give people a chance
We tell tales of friendship, of song and dance
When you're feeling sad, when your future is blur
Try to remember, the times we had
Loving, loving till the break of dawn
And crying, our way back home
To write a story of love
As if it would make a difference
Give silence a chance, it's the key to all beauty
As for me, I lost it, and my head is humming
Calling, piper at the gates of dawn
Asking me to sing about, the sound of silence
Here we go writing a song of love
Wanna be the best thing you've ever seen
We tend to forget, as good as it gets, afterall, it's just a song
Once again you watch the sun come up
Tears running from your eyes
Don't know when you decided to stay up
And you don't know why
Well here you go, dance again my friend
We'll be, loving in the end
We'll be living, we'll be laughing, we'll be longing to live again
Yeah yeah yeah we wanna sing the blues
Wanna be happy if we chose
We wanna live, we wanna love
We've got nothing left to lose
Yeah yeah, riding down the lane, we'd love to know
Where, we lost ourselves
Yeah yeah, flying round the sun, we'd love to know
When, it al begun

On 4/20 2017, we saw Bob Dylan live. I thought he was a prophet, that he was gonna say something about the future. Being in his presence I also realised that he is a sad clown. It is even more sad for him because people think he has a clue. Had a dream afterwards but I don't want to talk about his private life too much. Anyway, a friend had told me about 10 years before that I should try to write a reggae tune using the chords of the Canon in D by Pachelbel. In the end there are some other ideas like travis picking I think. The song was inspired by Dylan in the sense that I realised with him that what we do as artists is just telling stories although we are sometimes seen as mediums, I can't even find the words to explain. Anyways, hope you enjoy it.
