Music has been my longest and most trusted companion. It has always been there for me when nothing else would satisfy. I took a long break from music due to some personal reasons, and sang for many years alone..in my basement. This year I decided to make a youtube account for my family and friends so they could still hear me sing, without feeling out of my comfort zone. And now here I am, for all the world to hear haha! So this song is a bit different than what I usually post, but I felt it was a good song to post on a rainy Sunday, when things around us seem a little uncertain. I first heard this song when I was a kid, watching the movie "Sister Act" and I instantly became a fan of Lauryn Hill's incredible voice. I also want to add, that no matter what you believe, whatever walk of faith you have or don't have, there is always music for every person. One of my favourite lines of this song, "I sing, because I'm happy"...oh how true. I hope you're happy today too :)
