From Bilbao. I love music, especially rock, from pop-rock to metal. My favorite decade for music is the 90s, and the sound of grunge bands,... I hope you enjoy the covers.
Soundgarden –Mind Riot – Versión de Guitarra
Better listen with headphones
The first album I ever listened by Soundgarden was the “Badmotorfinger” album, back in 1992.
“Mind Riot” was written by Chris Cornell. Its's the 9th track on their album "Badmotorfinger". Like Temple of the Dog, “Mind Riot” was written in response to Andrew Wood’s death. It was recorded with all six strings tuned to varying octaves of E. According to Kim Tayil, Chris came up with that. And I believe it came from a conversation he had with Jeff Ament. Jeff said to Chris, “Hey man, wouldn’t it be crazy if someone did a song where every string was tuned to E?” Well, that wasn’t a completely uncommon tuning. It was done well before us. But Chris was like, “That would be weird!” And he came up with “Mind Riot.” But I think Jeff had said it as a joke.
Chris Cornell normally plays this song with all strings tuned to D instead of E.
