Hey guys I'm up again with another cover.This time with a very awesome,amazing,wicked,beautiful and catchy song by the one and only and lovely King of Pop Michael Joseph Jackson.
So since I absolutely love this song so so much and think it's very great to sing and dance to as well,I decided to do a cover of this song.
Also Heartbreak Hotel wasn't only composed by Michael Jackson alone cause he has created the song together with his brothers! So they have written it back in the days where they were still "The Jacksons".Even Michael's big sister Latoya has also taken part in the song by doing the scream at the beginning of it.A scream which is supposed to sound scary as well as sound like that somebody has just woken up from a horrifying nightmare! That's how Michael described it in his own book "Moonwalk".Which I think is very true cause the scream can surely scare people when they would hear "Heartbreak Hotel" for the first time and would be obviously not aware of it at all!
And this song is called "This Place Hotel" as well because of the same title of an Elvis Presley song.So to not mix up the two songs with the same title they renamed Michael's song with "This Place Hotel".So some people know this song as "This Place Hotel and some know it as "Heartbreak Hotel".In fact there are even people or Moonwalkers around who only know this song as "This Place Hotel" they don't even know that it's actually called "Heartbreak Hotel".So as you can see some people and even fans got a bit confused over this whole "title thing".Therefore if you were wondering how this song is also called "This Place Hotel",here you have the answer! So to all of you guys this song was,is and always will be originally named "Heartbreak Hotel" not "This Place Hotel",it was only like a tiny emergency solution because of the Elvis Presley song with the exact same title!
Also even though Michael named this song "Heartbreak Hotel" he never ever had the intention to copy Elvis Presley's song or him in general! Cause back then Michael was way too young,so he didn't know that a of the same title song from Elvis Presley already existed! Michael absolutely didn't have anybody else in mind while writing and naming this song "Heartbreak Hotel".Just in case that somebody believes that Michael Jackson copied Elvis Presley wit this song! Which is definitely not true at all,he also said it in his book "Moonwalk" again that he didn't want to copy him! I mean Michael of course knew back then who Elvis Presley was but probably didn't really knew what kind of songs he has.Cause Michael was too young back then.
Now back to the song itself,oh my god I absolutely can't explain how extremely much I love this song once again! Cause I truly love this song to death,the rhythm,beat,chorus and vocals are literally amazing and on fire!
So as always of course,I tried to make this song sound as great and as perfect as possible!
But despite that this is NOT supposed to sound perfect nor professional at all cause I'm just doing this as a hobby and for having some fun during it.
So like always I had lots of fun singing and recording this cover! In fact I was literally dancing my butt off to this song while still sitting on my chair! This song really made me go wild like crazy!
